Heritage Purchase Orders

The Heritage integration makes it easy to submit orders to Heritage for product. When you create a PO in LOU and choose Heritage as the Vendor, you can electronically send the PO directly to Heritage.

 

Go to Purchase Orders

Create the Purchase Order like you would any other Purchase Order. Before placing On Order, check out the information in the Heritage box.

  • Shipping Method: Select your preferred shipping method from the dropdown.
  • Select Branch: Select the Branch from which you want to order. You will see your selection in red below Shipping Method.
  • Check Quantities at Branch: You can use this feature to check the quantities at the Branch you selected. If you have access to multiple Branches, you can select a different Branch and check their Quantities to determine which Branch is best for the order.
  • Confirm Prices: This feature can be handy when you are in between Price Update cycles (every 15 days). With your SKUs already added to the PO, you can use this feature to confirm your Cost.

Once you are satisfied with the selections you’ve made and you are ready to submit to Heritage, use the Submit Order to Heritage button in the upper right corner of the Heritage box. This will electronically send the PO to Heritage for order processing and update the status of the PO in LOU from Open to On Order.

After you receive the order from Heritage, follow the standard Receive Inventory process to get that quantity in your Inventory.
