- Core Data Sync: When choosing Sync options, users can choose to sync POS Core Data separate from syncing transactions.
Feature Changes and Enhancements
- Deposit on Order: LOU Retail POS now accepts Deposits for Orders in LOU Web. Similar to making a Payment on Account through POS, users can choose to take a Deposit through POS.
Bug Fixes
- Receipt Printing: We corrected an issue that prevented receipts with over 4000 characters from printing.
- Inventory Search – Kit Line Item: We corrected an issue that prevented Kits with recently added SKUs from displaying all SKUs.
- Scrolling: We corrected an issue that caused scrolling problems throughout the app.
- Add SKUs to Transaction: We added a loading bar to prevent errors when adding SKUs to a transaction.
- Close POS User: We corrected an issue that caused the Last Closed POS user to display incorrectly.
- Update Line Item: We corrected an issue that caused a zero in the second decimal place to be trimmed off on the subtotal field after updating a line item.
- Purchase History: Purchase History is sorted in Descending order, so the most recent transaction is at the top.
- Card Transaction Timeout: We corrected a timeout issue when processing card transactions to increase the time allowed to complete a card transaction before timeout. A timer will display, letting the user know how much time is left before the transaction will be cancelled.
- Receive Payment Page Unresponsive: We corrected an issue that caused the Receive Payment Page to become unresponsive when hitting Select and double-tapping the Customer.
- SOI Freezes App: We corrected an issue that caused LOU Retail POS to freeze up when adding an SOI to the transaction.
- Forgot User PIN: We corrected an issue that caused the user and/or PIN to register as incorrect in LOU Retail POS after being updated/changed.
- Hardware Keyboard: We corrected an issue that caused LOU Retail POS to reset every time you plugged or unplugged a keyboard.
- Inventory Search: We added Search by Word to Inventory Search in addition to Search by Phrase to make SKUs more easily searchable.
- Voided Transactions on TSYS Report: We corrected an issue that caused voided transactions to appear on the TSYS report.
- QR Scanning Issue: If registration fails when scanning the QR code, an error message will display indicating why.
- Amount Charged Greater than Invoice: We corrected an issue that caused payments greater than the amount due to be charged.
- Customer Sync: We corrected an issue with Customer and SKU sync processes so that they will continue where they left off if the last successful sync was within 15 minutes. This process will repeat 3 times in the event of a network outage.
- Pending Payment Credit: We corrected an issue so that the original payment method (Credit) will remain selected if you select the Credit toggle again even though it’s already selected.
