Feature Changes and Enhancements
- POS App Application Size: Decreased the LOU Retail POS application size to improve how automatic updates occur from the PAX marketplace for eSeries devices.
- Pending Transaction Retries: Updated logic for the POS to automatically retry pending transactions automatically and provide a transaction status such as Queued, Pending, or Complete.
- Add Customer Error: Updated an error message to display the correct text when a terminal key needs to be reset. The error says Error: 100003 Host Username Not Set
Bug Fixes
- Sales Transaction – Serialized SKU: Updated the process that checks for Serial Number availability before you can sell a Serialized SKU via a LOU Retail POS transaction.
- Receipt Printing – Invalid Characters: To reduce printer errors, a filter has been added to replace irregular symbols with a ? to allow the printing to complete as expected.
- Edit Percentage Discount Amount: Updated the Percentage Discount Amount within the Edit Line Item pop-up to always be positive – Percentage (%) Discounts should never be negative.)
- Purchase History Date Range Off: Updated the Purchase History feature to initially load with correct dates entered in the date range fields.
- POS Station Closing Error Wording: Updated the verbiage within Close Station to be more informative and provide correct steps for resolution. The new message says Error Closing POS Station. There are synced transactions still processing in LOU Web. You will not be able to close until they are fully processed. Please try again later.
- Discount From POS Rounding Incorrect: Improved how totals are rounded and calculated for discounts in LOU Retail POS.
