How to Access Serial Numbers - LOU® - Powered by Evosus

Equipment and big-ticket items such as pumps, heaters, hot tubs, chemical feeders, and more are typically given a Serial Number by the Manufacturer to track that specific unit. Having a Serial Number is useful for obtaining warranty service, ensuring you get correct replacement parts, and tracking various information as it pertains to the product. A Serial Number is a unique identifier associated with a single quantity of a product. Therefore, Serial Numbers can only be transacted as a single quantity and not in bulk.

Having a record of these Serial Numbers is important and LOU. Serialized SKUs allow LOU to capture Serial Numbers from you which can be used throughout the system on documents and transactions associated with the SKU and product.

The Serial Numbers screen in LOU lets you see a list of your Serialized products. These Serial Numbers are added to LOU when you Receive Inventory.

Go to Inventory / Serial Numbers

The screen defaults to a view of your In Stock Serialized products. You have the option to switch your view to Out of Stock Serialized products.

This page can be sorted, filtered, and exported using the same tools as LOUs Reports and other search pages throughout LOU.
